Brant Marshall goes up and over Susquehanna’s Jacub Tomczyk and Gavin Baker (31) Friday night at Elk Lake.

Elk Lake took two of three games this week, falling to the Chiefs before rebounding back to beat the Sabers and Black Knights.

The Chiefs outscored Elk Lake, 66-39, in a non league boys basketball game Wednesday at Lakeland.

Matthew Mowry led Elk Lake with 12 points. Brant Marshall followed with 11.

On Friday at home, Mowry scored 17 points and Marshall had 16 to lead the Warriors in the rematch of the County Christmas Tournament championship game, as Elk Lake topped Susquehanna 46-44.

The next afternoon, the Warriors went on the road to Towanda.

Trever Graham converted a three-point play with three seconds left to force overtime and Elk Lake shot 6 of 10 from the free-throw line in the extra period to earn a 47-42 win over the Black Knights in a non league game.

Mowry led the Warriors with 22 points and Marshall had 12.

The Warriors played at home last night, and on the road at Forest City on Thursday. They will host the Meteors on Saturday afternoon.
