The Lions boys basketball team captured two league wins, over Mountain View and Forest City.

At home on Tuesday, Richard Helbing had 19 points to lead the Lions to a 52-39 win over the Eagles.

Josh Rzucidlo had 15 points for the winners.

On Friday, Helbing again led the home team to the win, this time with 16 points en route to a 44-34 Division IV win.

Lackawanna Trail shot 7 of 10 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter to seal the win. Nico Berrios added 11 points for the winners.

Trail hosted the Meteors last night and will head to Blue Ridge on Thursday.
