Trappers AssociationThe public is welcome to join the PTA District 9 Trappers Association for a flea market on Sunday, Sept. 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Those interested can come out and social distance to either make some extra cash by selling your hunting, fishing, trapping, outdoor goods or to buy some goods to support your outdoor needs.

There will be items for sale, various outdoor demos to listen to and watch and also food available to treat yourself to some lunch.

Vendor set up at 7 a.m., public welcome at 9 a.m.

Join us at 110 Sunny Side Lane, Tunkhannock, also known as The Gathering Place (behind Ace Robbins).

TU nominations

Stanley Cooper Sr Chapter Trout Unlimited nominations for the Board of Governors are now open. If you desire to serve, please see our FaceBook page or contact a board member for details.

Nominations will be taken up to and including the scheduled November General Meeting.

However, the General Meetings scheduled for September 2020 and October 2020 have been cancelled.

Mill City Trap Shoots

Thursday Trap Shoots continue, beginning at 3 p.m., weather permitting.

The Pistol Range will be open when shoots are scheduled, there is a small fee for use of either range. Please bring a chair and a face mask as social distancing will be observed.

FSC Shoot Invite

The Factoryville Sportsmen’s Club is forming a new Skeet League, open to both members and non-members.

A $20 League entry fee covers all skeet league costs for 2020 and $3 a round for members ($4.00/round for non members) per round shot will still be required.

League shoots will be the first and third Sundays of each month (in conjunction with Sporting Clay shoots).

Shotguns of 12, 20, 28, and 410 gauge are welcome, also new shooters as well as veterans are welcome to join the fun.

CHOP golf tournament

Come out for a day of fun golfing while supporting Child Hunger Outreach Partners on Saturday, Sep. 26 at 8 a.m. at Stone Hedge Golf Course.

The tournament includes 18 holes of golf, a longest drive contest, 50/50 raffle, door prizes, light breakfast, lunch on the turn, and steak dinner.
