Monday at Lackawanna Trail, Nathan Rolka had two hits, including a home run, and four RBIs to lead the Lions to the shutout win against Susquehanna. Winning pitcher DJ Klinges surrendered one hit in the shortened game. Pitch counts for Trail: Klinges 47, Susquehanna: Dubanowitz 108, Decker 14.

Trail had five hits but it wasn’t enough to beat the visiting Meteors on Thursday. The Lions lost 10-0 to Montrose in a Lackawanna League Division V baseball game Thursday. In a run-rule shortened game, starting pitcher Nate Rolka gave up one hit while striking out five and walking seven. Each team had five hits. Keith Ely doubled, scored three runs and drove in two while Bryden Jerauld had two hits, a run scored and two RBIs for the Meteors. Trail is 0-1 on the season.
