The Keystone College Department of Athletics has announced the hiring of Allison Regan as the head women’s volleyball coach for the upcoming 2019 season.

Regan completed her third season with King’s College in Wilkes-Barre as an assistant coach, helping lead the Monarchs to an overall record of 61-33 (.649), going 10-11 (.476) in the MAC Freedom.

Regan came to King’s after graduating from Manhattanville College in May 2016, with a degree in Mass Communications.

She began her career at the College of Mount Saint Vincent where she played for two years. As a freshman she ranked fourth on the team with 73 kills and 22 blocks. She also led the Skyline Conference and ranked 11th in Division III in service aces per-set, posting 55 aces in 67 sets. Regan ranked fourth on the team with 60 kills and 18 aces as a sophomore.

She then transferred to Manhattanville where she played her final two seasons. Regan posted a combined 195 kills and 50 blocks in 45 matches played with the Valiants.

Coach Regan coached club volleyball from 2014-16 with the Oxygen Volleyball Club based out of Yorktown, NY. She was the head coach of the 12-and-under team and the assistant coach for the 17u and 18u teams. She is USA Volleyball CAP I certified.

Regan is a graduate of Carmel High School in Carmel, N.Y.

The Giants will open the season, eyeing a return trip back to the CSAC postseason, at the DeSales Invitiational on August 30 against Stevenson at 7 p.m.
