The Scranton/ Wilkes-Barre RailRiders are offering their fans a wide variety of options for each 2020 ticket plan purchased, ranging from rollover options including ballpark experiences and increased ticket value for the 2021 Season as well as full ticket refunds.

“While we await more information on when baseball will return, we must fulfill our commitment to you by providing flexible options to choose from as it relates to the status of your season ticket membership and the 2020 schedule in Moosic. We certainly understand the hardships this global pandemic has caused, so hopefully this eases some concern to get these options to you now and not waiting for an official announcement from Minor League Baseball,” said a release from the team.

To submit your rollover or refund request form, submit a form pertaining to the ticket plan you’ve purchased. After your form is submitted, a RailRiders ticketing representative will contact you to process your request.

They are currently offering different options for Full Season, Half Season and Partial Season Memberships including all Mini-Plan Packages and Group Outings that have been paid in-full.

All plans include the account balance plus 20 percent of your paid account value for the 2021 season, which can be used towards additional tickets or ticket upgrades.

For example, full and half season ticket holders who opt to rollover to the 2021 season have the bonus option of one of the following perks: “Dugout Seating” for one inning during the 2021 season (some restrictions apply); Mascot appearance (one hour); one first pitch for a select 2021 game; have a catch on the field before a select game; announce the batters for a half inning as the PA Announcer (limited space available); lead the crowd to “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” with Champ; hang out in the production control room for three innings and watch the game presentation; or be an honorary bat boy/girl (age 17 and under) for an inning or honorary manager (in dugout pre-game and do ground rules with managers and umps) for a game (one person per account).

Group events that were prepaid have the option to have a catch on the field before a select game (subject to availability); have batting practice at PNC Field in the batting cages (Sept-Feb) one (1) invite per each ticket on your account; or mascot appearance for one hour at a corporate, group, or personal event.

In addition, the number of tickets on an account will be donated to frontline workers and other community heroes (medical worker, delivery person, COVID-19 survivor, etc.) which will be honored in your name at a select game in 2021.

Ticket bundles purchased for the 2020 Keystone Mid Summer Classic featuring the Triple-A All-Star Game presented by the Lackawanna County Visitors Bureau are also provided.

If the RailRiders front office staff does not hear from ticket holders by July 31, they will assume the holders are content with rolling the purchased ticket plan over to the 2021 Season.
