The Mandatory Cold Weather Life Jacket Wear is now in effect and runs through April 30. All anglers and boaters must wear a Coast Guard approved personal flotation device while underway or at anchor on boats less than 16 feet in length and any canoe or kayak.

Fishing License vouchers can be purchased as a gift for another individual that can be redeemed by that individual for a fishing license and /or trout stamp or privilege.

The 2021 Fishing Licenses are available for purchase on. Don’t forget to purchase your new fishing license for 2021.

The PFBC does not monitor ice thickness. Ice thickness and conditions can vary greatly across the lake. Use caution as you head out onto the ice. A life jacket and a set of ice awls can be extremely important if you fall though the ice. Remember, safety always comes first.

Fishing has been slow lately due to hunting season and the recent cold weather. However, it should pick back up once we get some good ice.

Anglers are reminded to check ice thickness before heading onto the ice and stay aware of changing weather conditions.
