Jerry Dougherty topped the field to win the Senior Club Championship, Happy Hazelton ran away with the women’s title and Michael Bluhm was victorious in the junior championship.
Dougherty was on top of his game, 1 over for 36 holes, to post a six-stroke win over Warren Rozelle. Barry Westington and Don Ames were another shot back in third.
Hazelton’s sizzling 134 total for two days (+14) put her comfortably clear of Marci McDermott, with Heather Bluhm third.
Michael Bluhm outdistanced Ana Galko by 10 shots, with Nathan Wescott third, five behind Galko.
Wendy Seamans carded a two-day total of 1-over par to win the women’s golf organization’s Handicap Tournament, topping runner-up Mary Fox by five shots. In the nine-hole event, Pat Mould was anything but sub-par with her 2-under total of 58, good for an eight-stroke margin over Rachel Winebrake.
Gary Frisbie and Mike Deininger overcame a three-shot deficit to capture the Founders Tournament, finishing with a 54-hole score of 7-under (203) and a three-stroke cushion over the teams of John Engleman-Bill Dessoye and John Petrosky-Bill Briggs, who tied for second. Engleman-Dessoye were first-round medalists with a 65.
