A number of persons were sentenced virtually on Wednesday morning, July 15, by President Judge Russell Shurtleff in the Wyoming County Court of Common Pleas in Tunkhannock:

  • Brent Victor Birtch, 32, of Binghamton, N.Y., was sentenced to 12 months probation and a $500 fine for fleeing or attempting to elude officer on May 19, 2018.
  • Jason Edward Campbell, 26, of Monroe Township, was sentenced to 6 months probation and a $300 fine for DUI on June 9, 2019.
  • Stanley Paul Donovan, 34, of Mehoopany, was sentenced to 72 hours-6 months in county jail and a $1,000 fine for DUI of a controlled substance on Nov. 27, 2019.
  • Timothy Paul Dunnells, 55, of Scranton, was sentenced to 3-6 months in county jail and a $1,000 fine for DUI on Aug. 2, 2019.
  • Brendon Christopher
  • Ely, 19, of Monroe Township, was sentenced to 12 months probation and a $500 fine for possession of drug paraphernalia on Sept. 28, 2018.

Adam Thomas Eyet, 20, of Tunkhannock, was sentenced to 6 months probation commencing with 30 days house arrest for DUI, second offense, on Feb. 18, 2019.

  • Sean Patrick Grier, 47, of Dunmore, was sentenced to 4-23.5 months in county jail, a $500 fine, and $1,973 in restitution for receiving stolen property on Dec. 30, 2019; and to 12 months probation and a $500 fine for possession of drug paraphernalia on March 1.
  • Janis Kruszka, 54, of Pittston, was sentenced to 12 months probation, a $500 fine, and $750 restitution for theft by unlawful taking on July 13, 2018.
  • Dannielle Rene Leskoven, 29, of Williamsport, was sentenced to 28 days-12 months in county jail and $500 restitution for possession of drug paraphernalia on Sep. 29, 2019.
  • Thomas Gerald Merritt, 37, of Tunkhannock, was sentenced to 3 months-231 days in county jail for criminal mischief and $1 restitution on Feb. 18, 2018.
  • Francis Charles Schuch, 51, of Philadelphia, was sentenced to 6-12 months in county jail and a $500 fine for possession of a controlled substance by a person not registered on Jan. 6; and to 3-12 months in county jail and a $500 fine for possession of drug paraphernalia on Jan. 6, with sentences to be served concurrently.
  • William E. Siglin, 31, of Factoryville, was sentenced to 6-23 months in county jail followed by 37 month probation and a $1,500 fine for DUI of a controlled substance, second offense, on Oct. 24, 2019.
  • Cody Lee Wolbers, 23, of Factoryville, was sentenced to 72 hours-23 months in county jail, followed by 37 months probation and a $1,000 fine for DUI of a controlled substance, with minor on board on June 16, 2018; and to 90 days-23 months in county jail, followed by 37 months probation and a $1,500 fine for DUI, second offense, on Dec. 6, 2019, with sentences to be served concurrently.
