The Wyoming County Community Health Foundation is inviting nonprofit organizations serving Wyoming County and surrounding counties to submit Letters of Intent as a first step in applying for funding.

The WCCHF selects and invests in programs and organizations that are committed to improving the health and wellness of the people of Wyoming County and its surrounding communities.

The annual funding process begins with the Letter of Intent which provides a very broad but concise description of the program to be funded and the anticipated program outcomes. Agencies may submit Letters of Intent for existing programs, expanded programs or new programs.

The Wyoming County Community Health Foundation funds programs within four guiding principles:

  • Support collaborative approaches to address unmet community needs
  • Promote proven health care techniques and understanding
  • Encourage innovative approaches to health care and understanding
  • Identify and advocate for underserved and vulnerable populations
