Tunkhannock Township Police Chief Edward Morristell has released the department’s police report for December.

The police responded to 172 calls, including 911 hangup (2), abandoned vehicle (1), alarm (8), animal complaint (4), assist other agency (13), BOLO (1), child abuse (1), civil matter (1), criminal impersonation (1), disabled vehicle (10), domestic (1), driving under the influence (3), erratic driver (6), fight/assault (2), harassment by communication (1), miscellaneous (4), noise complaint (2), overdose (1), PFA service (1), PFA violation (1), phone message (25), police motor vehicle accident (7), property damage (1), rape/sexual assault (1), suicide attempt (1), suspicious activity (10), suspicious person (2), suspicious vehicle (3), theft (3), threats harassment (1), traffic hazard (17), traffic stop (26), trespassing (1), warrant service (4), weapons complaint (2), and welfare check (3).

They issued 11 traffic citations and no traffic warnings, and made two criminal arrests which included three charges, one if which was a felony.

Police also revealed 4,766 miles of patrol from five vehicles.
