State Police at Dunmore investigated a report of possession of a stolen firearm on Nov. 9 in Lenox Township.

Police say that a confidential informant conducted a controlled purchase of a stolen firearm by Joseph Lee Snedeker, 35, Kingsley. During the attempted sale at a location on Route 92, Snedeker was found to be in possession of a Tauras 9 MM handgun, which was stolen from Clifford Township. Snedeker faces multiple felony charges.

Members of the Dunmore Vice Unit investigated.

State Police at Tunkhannock responded to multiple false alarms on Nov. 9 in Eaton Township.

Police say that at 7:26 a.m., Endless Music located at 505 Hunter Highway had reported its fourth false alarm to them. A non-traffic citation was filed with District Court 44-3-02.

State Police at Tunkhannock responded to a pursuit of a teen on Nov. 6 in Washington Township.

Police say that at 3:47 a.m., Troopers Doug Jennings and Andrew Hurchick successfully apprehended a 16-year old male from Meshoppen, who fled from a traffic stop on a dirt bike. The pursuit went through Washington Township, Lemon Township and Tunkhannock Township. The operator of the dirt bike was taken into custody on Lakewood Road in Lemon Township.

Tpr. Andrew Hurchick was the arresting officer.

State Police at Tunkhannock responded to a report of terroristic threats on Nov. 3 in Mehoopany Township.

Police say that at 7:21 a.m., Osman Germonio Gomez, 36, of Tunkhannock, and Kareem Jarvis, 31, of Swoyersville, were involved in a verbal argument in front of a location on Route 87.

Tpr. Robert Hooper is continuing the investigation.

State Police at Gibson responded to a possible DUI on Nov. 1 in Bridgewater Township.

Police say that at 3:07 p.m., Sherry Manning, 43, of Hop Bottom, was stopped on Route 706 for traffic violations and found to be under the influence of narcotics.

State Police at Towanda investigated a motor vehicle accident on Oct. 22 in Sheshequin Township.

Police say that at 12:07 a.m., they responded to the intersection of Sheshequian Road and Cowhill Road where a 2018 GMC Sierra had crashed. A 30-year old male from Mehoopany claimed to have fallen asleep, resulting in his vehicle leaving the roadway and striking a tree. The investigation determined the operator was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. Charges are pending blood test results.

State Police at Tunkhannock investigated a report of retail theft on Oct. 15 in Monroe Township.

Police say that at 11:11 a.m., Laura White, 40, of Tunkhannock removed $133 worth of merchandise, without paying, at the Dollar General on Route 29 South. Charges were filed at District Court 44-3-02.

State Police at Tunkhannock investigated a possible drug possession on Oct. 13 in Clinton Township.

Police say that at noon on Route 107, a stop was conducted on a 3004 Chevrolet Silverado for a traffic violation. Glenn Sjogren, 34, of Factoryville, was found to be in possession and under the influence of drugs. Charges were filed through District Court 44-3-01.

State Police at Tunkhannock investigated a report of retail theft on Oct. 4 in Lemon Township.

Police say that at 8:22 p.m., Laura White, 40, of Tunkhannock, removed $138 worth of merchandise, without paying, at the Dollar General, located on SR 1006. Charges were filed at District Court 44-3-02.

State Police at Tunkhannock investigated a report of a drug possession on Sept. 17 in Nicholson Borough.

Police say that at 12:31 a.m., Catherine Lezinsky, 41, of Hop Bottom, was contacted during an investigation, and was found to be in possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. Charges have been filed through Magisterial District Judge 44-3-01.

Police say that at 12:27 a.m., at a location on Lane Hill Road, Chad Fassett, 37, of Meshoppen, was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia. Charges have been filed through Magisterial District Judge 44-3-01.
