State police at Towanda responded to a motor vehicle accident in Tuscarora Township on Aug. 30.

Police say that around 2:03 p.m., a 1995 Honda driven by Addison J. Hall, 19, of Laceyville, was exiting a single lane bridge on Rt. 367 when it collided head on with a 2017 Hyundai Elantra, driven by Atkinson D. Canfield, 24, of Laceyville, which was about to enter the bridge.

Upon impact, Hall and passenger Florence Murray, 46, of Wyalusing, were thrown from the Honda. Hall was flown to Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital, and Murray was flown to Robert Packer Hospital, both with suspected serious injuries. Canfield reported no injuries.

State police at Gibson looked into a report of disorderly conduct in Dimock Township on Aug. 30.

Police say that at 3 a.m. they arrived at the scene of a disturbance on Route 29 where a complainant advised that Lacey Decker, 20 of Montrose, Haleigh Swackhammer, 20, of Tunkhannock, and Hailey Bomboy, 23, of Montrose, had arrived in a 2-hour period, and began to bang on the windows causing the police to respond.

The arrestees were cited in District Court 34-3-01.

State police at Gibson looked into a report of burglary in Clifford Township on Aug. 29.

Police say that around 6:10 a.m., they responded to a location on Creamery Road involving the attempt of theft of multiple vehicles (including a 2018 Ram truck, a 2004 Ford, a 2006 Mercury, a 1965 Pontiac, and a 2000 Dodge Chrysler) with the actor, identified as Andrew Hojnoski, 31, of Dunmore, still on scene. He was taken into custody and arraigned before District Judge Suzanne Brainard. Unable to post bail he was remanded to the county jail.

Victims were listed as a 71-year-old male, and a 39-year-old male, both of Clifford Township.

State police at Tunkhannock attempted to serve an arrest warrant in Factoryville Borough on Aug. 24.

Police say that at 12:14 a.m. they responded to a location on Riverside Drive, when Timothy VanVleck, 23, of Factoryville, attempted to flee to avoid apprehension, but was unsuccessful and taken into custody, arraigned and incarcerated at the Wyoming County jail.

State police at Tunkhannock looked into a report of burglary in Nicholson Township on Aug. 22.

Police say that around 4:16 p.m. unknown actors arrived at a location on the Lackawanna Trail, then cut and removed locks of a storage unit belonging to a 47-year-old male from Factoryville. Removed were a guitar amplifier, speaker and master pad locks valued at around $700. Anyone with information is asked to call 570-836-2141.

State police at Tunkhannock responded to a motor vehicle accident in Meshoppen Township on Aug. 11.

Police say that around 7:38 p.m., a 14-year-old male from Meshoppen driving a Honda CBF 250R was traveling west on Strawberry Hill Lane when he failed to yield to oncoming northbound traffic while entering Briar Ridge Road. He drove into the path of a 2015 Toyota Tacoma, driven by Randy M. Blaisure, 59 of Montrose.

The teen was ejected and taken by Meshoppen Fire and Ambulance to a landing zone then flown to CMC. He was cited for careless driving.
