Other sentencings took place Friday in the Wyoming County Court of Common Pleas with senior Judge Jeffrey Smith presiding.

Francis E. Buraczewski, 48, of Harding, was sentenced to a $500 fine and 6-23 months, 29 days, for terroristic threats on Dec. 8, 2019.

  • Kana Christian McGinley, 43, of Scranton, was sentenced to a fine of $1,000 and 6 days-6 months in county jail for DUI of a controlled substance on May 3, 2019.
  • Matthew Todd Soltis, 35, of Nicholson, was sentenced to a fine of $1,000 and 72 hours-6 months in county jail for DUI of a controlled substance on March 14, 2019.
  • Victoria T. Ventura, 60, of Rome was sentenced to a $1,500 fine, and 6-36 months in county jail for DUI, third offense, on Feb. 8, 2018; and 12 months probation and a $250 fine for simple assault on Feb. 8, 2018.
  • William George Walsh, 51, of Wilkes-Barre, was sentenced to a $500 fine, and $2,100 in restitution and 8-36 months in state prison for theft by deception on Aug. 7, 2018.
