This week I was happy to meet and speak with Shannon LaMotta, a local business woman who has opened a new store in Nicholson. Shannon, originally from Taylor, moved to Nicholson about six years ago and lives right in town on High Street. She and her cousin Megan have partnered up to open a new store called ‘Cousins Boutique LLC.’

Shannon said, “Everything we sell is based in the U.S. We sell all unique items that you will not find around this area.” The new store is located in the Belvedere Entertainment Center on Maple Street. They have been in business for just a few weeks now and also sell items like candles, happy wax, candies, bath bombs, snacks, wine glasses and wooden signs. We have heard so much about closings lately, it’s great to hear good news about new businesses opening in our area! For more information, give them a call 570-604-4609 or visit them on facebook at facebook.com/cousinsboutiquellc.

Cousins Boutiqe and THS Gifts and More have teamed up to sponsor a Nicholson Halloween Costume Photo Contest and will be offering some great prizes for the winners, open to both children and adults. For more information on how to participate, please visit tinyurl.com/nicholsonevent2020.
