Magisterial District Judge David Plummer

Traci Griffin, 25, of Scranton, was charged by Dalton Borough Police Officer Matthew R. Bond with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance by a person not registered, and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident on July 19 in Nicholson Borough. Her preliminary hearing was Jan. 5, and charges will be bound over to county court.

Nicholas Anthony Price, 22, of Nicholson, was charged by Tpr. Blade M. Bernosky with DUI, restrictions on alcoholic beverages, careless driving, failure to keep right, and driving at safe speed in connection with an incident on Nov. 26 in Nicholson Township. His preliminary hearing has been set for Feb. 9.

Thomas Michael Burns, 56 of Thomposon, was charged by Tpr. Andrew J. Hurchick with DUI, careless driving, and driving while operator privilege suspended, in connection with an incident on Dec. 31 in Clinton Township. His preliminary hearing has been set for Feb. 9.

Jane M. Sondej, 61, of Greenfield Township, was charged by Tpr. Briana N. Hollenbeck with DUI and disregarding traffic lane in connection with an incident on Dec. 24 in Lemon Township. Her preliminary hearing has been set for Feb. 9.

Magisterial District Judge Carl Smith

Albert Edward Haasz Jr., 30, of Scranton, was charged by Tpr. Andrew J. Hurchick with DUI of a controlled substance, disregarding traffic lane, careless driving, failure to stop at signal, and small amount of marijuana in connection with an incident on Nov. 21 in Tunkhannock Borough. His preliminary hearing has been set for Feb. 11.

Scott R. Faux, 30, of Mehoopany, was chgarged by Frances Policicchio with food stamp fraud in connection with an incident on Sep. 27, 2018 in Eaton Township. His preliminary hearing has been set for Feb. 11.

Lawrence P. Huffman Sr., 52, of Tunkhannock, was charged by Wyoming County Chief Detective David A. Ide with possession of firearm in connection with an incident on Jan. 4 in Eaton Township. His preliminary hearing has been set for Jan. 21.

Brian Lee Miller, 55, of Tunkhannock, was charged by Tunkhannock Borough Police Sgt. Dustin G. Cokely with assault by prisoner facility employee, aggravated assault and simple assault in connection with an incident on Jan. 6 in Tunkhannock Borough. His preliminary hearing has been set for Jan. 21.

Clifford F. Chapin, 63, of Monroe Township, was charged by Tunkhannock Borough Police Officer Richard J. Stevens with DUI, disregarding traffic lane and careless driving in connection with an incident on Dec. 11 in Tunkhannock Borough. He is awaiting a preliminary hearing date.
