Michael A. Podskoch Jr. recently received his Juris Doctor from Widener University Commonwealth Law School with specialization certifications in environmental law and constitutional law.

He is the son of Mike and Lynette Podskoch of Dallas, and received his B.A. in government, law, and national security, cum laude, in 2017 from Misericordia University.

Anna Moffitt of Tunkhannock, has been named to the spring 2020 Dean’s List at Albright College in Reading. Moffitt earned this honor regardless of all classes transitioning online after spring break due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A graduate of Tunkhannock Area High School, Moffitt studied psychology during the spring semester.

To be eligible for the Dean’s List, Albright students must earn a grade point average of 3.75.

Brianna L. Mason of Factoryville was named to the Hartwick College Dean’s List for the spring 2020 semester:

To be on the Dean’s List at the Oneonta, N.Y., campus requires at least a 3.5 grade point average based on a 4.0 scale.


Lauren E. Dottor of Dallas received a B.S. in accounting at the University of Connecticut at the end of the spring 2020 semester.


Neil Altieri, of Dalton, who is majoring in business management, has been named to the Champlain College President’s List for the Spring 2020 semester.

Students on the President’s List at the Burlington, Vt., campus have achieved a grade point average of 4.0 or higher during the semester.


Sarah Strazdus, of Harding, was named to Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s spring 2020 dean’s list. A member of the Class of 2021, she is majoring in mechanical engineering.


Christina Holdra, of Dallas, has been named to the dean’s list at York College. To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
