Summertime and the living isn’t so easy. It’s hard to get anything done outside if you don’t care for hot and humid weather. Lots of folks have found time to pick berries and to enjoy the fruits of their labor. The zucchini is coming in very nicely, also.

Ron Vermeulen found his first rattlesnake of the season. He didn’t kill it but relocated it out of the yard.

The Adams family enjoyed their family reunion last Saturday. Later in the afternoon they all attended the graduation party for Kyle Stackhouse. Kyle graduated from Tunkhannock Area High School in June.

Dianne Lewis brought a lovely bouquet of flowers to church on Sunday morning. They were in memory of her sisters, Louise, Bea, and Martha.

The Sunday School of the Mehoopany United Methodist Church has a can drive on Saturday and Sunday, August 1 and 2. Bring your bagged aluminum cans to the truck/trailer that will be in the church parking lot.
