The Tunkhannock branch of Wells Fargo has notices posted for customers.

The Wells Fargo branch in Tunkhannock still remains temporarily closed for in-person service.

“As we are starting to see an increase in the number of customers seeking services at our branches, we are planning to reopen the Tunkhannock branch in the coming weeks,” said Wells Fargo spokesperson James Baum.

For now, Baum recommended that Tunkhannock customers who need to conduct in-person transactions make an appointment with the nearest Wells Fargo branches in Clarks Summit or Dallas.

Call 570-587-1185 to reach the Clarks Summit branch, located on 915 Northern Boulevard, and 570-675-0213 to reach the Dallas branch, located on 2124 Memorial Highway.

“We encourage customers to use our convenient mobile and online tools to deposit checks, pay bills, transfer money, set and receive alerts, and send and receive money through Zelle,” he added. “We remain focused on meeting the needs of our customers while reducing the risk to both our employees and customers.”

Open Wells Fargo branches have the following measures in place: utilizing drive ups, offering some services by appointment only, using protective barriers, enacting social distancing measures, and performing enhanced cleaning.

Customers can check Wells Fargo’s branch locator on wellsfargo.com for the current status of branches.
