Sharon Neumane and Laura Dickson at the new Biden/Harris headquarters in Tunkhannock.

The Biden/Harris campaign headquarters located right on Tioga Street, Tunkhannock, across the street from Twigs Restaurant, opened last weekend and will be open until the election on Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

“The Wyoming County Democratic Committee and the Wyoming County Democratic Women’s Society want to make sure that everyone has the information they need to vote in the upcoming election,” WCDC chair Laura Dickson said.

The headquarters is staffed by members of the WCDC, WCDWS as well as other Wyoming County residents who have banded together to provide information about Democratic candidates. It will also have information on how to register to vote and vote by mail.

“These are challenging and complicated times due to Covid-19 and many of our Wyoming County folks are finding the new vote by mail regulations confusing. We want to provide the help that some folks may need,” adds Dickson. She can be contacted at

Members of the WCDC and WCDWS are united in their effort to provide a location to pick up election information. Members and volunteers have made donations to cover the cost of the headquarters and materials to be distributed. Many volunteers have loaned furniture, office supplies and others have helped decorate the headquarters at Suite #6 West Tioga Street, 93 Warren Street.

Information can be picked up at the Biden/Harris Headquarters, including voter registration forms, posters, vote by mail ballot applications and flyers that state the position of the candidates on issues such as Social Security, Medicare, and climate change.
