PERLE GOODWIN Dec. 14, 2018

Perle Clinton Goodwin, 87, originally from Forkston, passed away on Friday, Dec. 14, 2018, at the Wyalusing Valley Personal Care Home.

Perle and his identical twin brother, Paul, were born on June 29, 1931, the sons of late Earl and Olive Lewis Goodwin on their family farm in Mehoopany Township.

Perle is survived by his son Daniel (Cindy Newhart) Goodwin of Wilmot Township; his daughter Janice (James) Copp of Wilmot Township; his son Eric Goodwin of Boston, Mass.; grandson Shay (Kristin Tiffany) Goodwin and great-granddaughter Grace of Wyalusing; granddaughter Chantel (Patrick) Newell, great-granddaughter Elaina, and great-grandson Izaiah of Homets Ferry; granddaughter Keon Copp of Wilmot Township; grandson William (Taylor Carey) Copp of Tunkhannock; and brother Paul Goodwin of Mehoopany.

Besides his parents Perle was preceded in death by his brothers Harold and Bernard, and his sister Julia.

A memorial service for Perle will be held on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the Forkston United Methodist Church with Pastor Joshua Yorks of the church officiating. Masonic services will be conducted by the membership of the Nicholson Lodge # 438 F&AM immediately preceding the memorial service. Greetings for family and friends will begin at 10 a.m. A private burial was held at the Forkston Cemetery for the immediate family.
