A 27-year-old Tunkhannock man remains in the hospital Tuesday following a bicycle crash in Tunkhannock on Monday, April 17.
According to Tunkhannock Borough Police Chief Keith Carpenter, the incident remains under investigation, pending the results of a toxicology report.
He said that Kecia Magdin, 32, of Mehoopany, is suspected of driving under the influence when the 2008 Pontiac she was driving around 7:27 p.m. on Monday collided with the bicycle on Bridge Street near its intersection with Redfield Street.
Chief Carpenter said Magdin was taken into custody and released under the summons process.
The bicycle rider, Andrew Razawich, of Billings Mill Road, was taken by medical helicopter that evening to the Community Medical Center in Scranton, where he remains in guarded condition, Chief Carpenter said.
